Read What Others Have to Say...
" I had the opportunity to buy some grafted sangiovese from
Randy, and I am very pleased with how they have grown. He was
able to provide me with UC davis root stock that is nematode
resistant and the vines he provided have performed better than
expected. I recommend Piedmontese nursery as a good local
source for grape vines."

I bought 32 grafted Cynthiana Norton plants from Randal Miller
of Piedmontese Nursery in April of 2008. Had a very successful
rate of growth with these drought resistant plants as 28 of
the plants survived. Need to use grow tubes as recommended by
Randal. These plants will do well also in wet ground. Looking
forward to seeing how much they grow this year as they
prospered well their first year.If anyone wants to contact me
with other questions I can be reached @ 918-260-3109.

Why green growing benchgrafts are better:
- You have a healthy root system fully intact at
planting time, instead of losing all the rootlets.
- Plant directly from the container to the field
with little root disruption.
- Grown in non-soil media, rather than field
digging. So no pruned roots and no chance of
nematodes or other pest transmission by soil.
- Easy handling at planting, 4x4x10" pots.
- Successful planting year round, however,
Summer can be very stressful in hot, dry, years.
